Friends of WomenSafe, Inc. (FOWS) is a volunteer driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the sole mission to generate unrestricted funds for WomenSafe, Inc. WomenSafe has been serving the needs of families plagued by domestic violence throughout Northeast Ohio for over 30 years.
Pictures 2019 Maple Festival Parade!
Team effort: 2018 Angel Cheryl Clark joins 2019 Angel Karen Kerr in the 2019 Maple Festival parade in Chardon. We enjoy Celebrating our Angel in the parade. If you are not that familiar with us, we are all volunteers, and all of our Members donate all of there time and efforts. So from that standpoint they are all angels. However, every year the board selects one member who has gone above and beyond what anyone could ask of someone. Narrowing it down to one member is actually the more difficult task.
This year's angel embodies this to a T. Karen is on just about every committee and even took time away from her family at the Wine Tasting last year to help sell numbers for the reverse raffle. If there is ever anything that needs to be done from picking up pizza's for the golf outing to arranging an amazing gift raffle display Karen's always willing to step up to the task. Please take a moment to say Hello to Karen at the Spring Luncheon with Romona Robinson or whatever event you should attend next.
