President: Mamie ProbstMamie is a long time supporter of WomenSafe Inc. and joined the Board of Friends of WomenSafe in February of 2020. After retiring from Swagelok as their Training Events Coordinator for over twenty years, Mamie brings her expertise in organization, scheduling and fundraising to the team. She served as treasurer for one year before taking the position of President.

Vice President: Melissa Dahlhousen
Melissa was sworn in as the Vice President of FOW in February 2020. She continues to assist with special events, most recently The Theatre Party hosted in Chagrin Falls. This event was SOLD OUT!
Treasurer: Kathy ShimerKathy served as Treasurer for FOW from 2010-2019 and took leave to pursue other interests and is back! Kathy worked at Key Bank and brought her knowledge of finance to WomenSafe Inc. where she was employed as a Billing Specialist and took special interest in assisting survivors be means of participating in the Adopt-A-Family Program and Special Events.

Secretary: Jennifer Gundy
Jennifer (Gundy) Peck has been a member of Friends of WomenSafe since 2017 and Secretary since January 2020. She has been on the Wine Tasting Committee, the Golf Outing and the Spring Luncheon. She enjoys baking for the annual Theatre Party. Jennifer is a practicing attorney with the firm of Solomon, Steiner & Peck, Ltd.
Membership Chair: Jo Ann KauffmanJo Ann joined Friends of WomenSafe as a Participating Member in October of 2009. She was recognized as our 2012 Angel of the Year. Jo Ann became a member of the Board of Directors in September of 2012. In addition to chairing the annual Amish Wedding Dinner, she serves on many other event committees and in July 2018 accepted the position of Membership Chair..

Becky Samardge
While looking for productive ways to stay busy after retirement from the Dept. on Aging, Becky joined Friends of WomenSafe. She has enjoyed helping with several of the events over the last few years: Golf Outing, Wine Tasting, Purses and Pastries and the Spring Luncheon. This year she will co-chair Purses and Pastries with Renee Baker. Nancy’s Nest, a group that makes homemade cards, that are sold to raise money for WomenSafe is another way Becky keeps busy.
Nancy ZamrzlaNancy, "NanZam," has been instrumental with the mission work of WomenSafe. SHe has been creative in finding sponsors to help offset expenses, utilizing an all-volunteer work force taking the raffle into art shows, craft fairs, Christmas boutiques, Pumpkin Festivals, Maple Festivals, and Ox Roasts. Her efforts resulted in the Quilt Raffle being the most productive activity yearly. Nancy is the inspiration behind Nancy's Nest, a volunteer based card making club where all proceeds directly benefit survivors of domestic violence.
