Dec 15, 2013 - Christmas Tea
The 7th Annual Christmas Tea was held at the Red Maple Inn, 14707 S. Cheshire Street, Burton, Ohio. Our guest speaker was Eileen Green from the Intensive Care Doll Hospital in Chesterland. Ms. Green shared some of the fascinating history of dolls while displaying some of the unique dolls in her collection. The tea was catered by Upscale Eats. 46 ladies attended. Every guest took home a festively decorated metal container of mints. Sponsors for the tea were Jeffrey Cameron, M.D., Payne & Payne Builders and Lake Health.

Dec 1, 2013 - Theater Party
175 Friends of WomenSafe supporters munched on homebaked cookies, hot cider, and hot chocolate as they enjoyed an excellent performance of "A Christmas Carol - The Musical" at the Chagrin Valley Little Theater on December 1, 2013. We owe a huge THANK-YOU to Ed Babcock of Junction Auto Sales for underwriting this show thus making our Theater Party Possible. We're also grateful to Patterson's Fruit Farm for the donation of the delicious cider!

Aug 10, 2013 - Dinner/Dance
Friends of WomenSafe enjoyed a night on the parquet dancing to music by Ed & Lindsey Leonard with dance instruction provided by Fred Astaire Dance Studio, 8225 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 (Phone: 440-543-1559).

Friends of WomenSafe enjoyed an Amish Wedding Dinner at Yoder's Home Cooking, 14729 Patch Road, Burton, OH 44021.
Sponsors: Advanced Accounting Consultants, The Alvord Agency, Luschin & Luschin CPA'S Inc, and Middlefield Banking Company. There were 50 guests in attendance and the event netted $1,924.00. |

June 22, 2013 - Wine Tasting
Friends of WomenSafe were hosted by Berkshire Hills Country Club in Chesterland for the June 22nd wine tasting fundraising event which featured wine tastings by Heidelberg Distributors and Emerine Estates Winery, chocolate tastings by Hartville Chocolate Factory, hearty appetizers, wine pull, 50/50 raffle, Chinese Auction and live music for dancing. The event was catered by Walter Miraglia and music was provided by The Church Boys. Our event Sponsors were Adams Reserve Cheddar and Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. The event raised $4,851.81.
May 15, 2013 - Spring Luncheon: "Millionaires Row"
Friends of WomenSafe Historian Dan Ruminski took an exciting historical journey down Millionaires Row with stories from when Cleveland had more millionaires in residence than any other city in the country. Lunch was catered by The Reserve House.
